Fuchsia Riccartonii
This beautiful plant is the wild Irish Fuschia that you will see in abundance in hedgerows in the southwest of Ireland teamed up with yellow Crocosmia.

Fuchsia Riccartonii has slender, arching branches with small, round to oval purplish, green foliage which turn yellow in autumn. This Fuschia has beautiful red tubular flowers which have a blue-purple centre when open.

There are also other cultivated varieties such as Fuschia versicolour which has red leaves and a pink flower with a purple centre.
Fuschia million bells dark green foliage with dark pink flowers. Tom Thumb Dwarf variety with dark, green leaves and bright.

Taking care of your Fuschia
This plant will thrive in sun or semi-shade and any type of soil type. If it's in a pot, make sure to keep them well fed and watered. In early spring, cut back to within 3 inches of the soil to encourage new growth.
