A Rustic Christmas Flower Arrangement by Carol Bone

Here is another lovely arrnagment that Floral Artist Carol Bone showed us how to make at her annual Christmas Decoration Demo this week. Don't miss Carol's next workshops! See www.powerscourt.ie/events for more information. 1) Take a beautiful rustic wooden container, such as this one now available at Powerscourt Garden Pavilion. 2) Add some oasis to the container and place some birch into the Oasis 3) For some colour and glamour, add in some long-stemmed roses to it, such as Grand Prix Roses. 4) Put the foliage in at three different levels for interest. Put different textures beside each other for variety. 5) Foliage such as pine leaf has a real softness to it and contrasts well with the rest of the arrangement. 6) Add a few pine cones for further texture. 7) Complete the arrangement with some festive, brightly coloured berries and your look is complete!
